Is exercise worth the effort?

Definitely a big Y.E.S & here's why;

  • Y = You live longer; Walking just 22 minutes per day for 7 days, will HALVE your risk of dying in the next 10 years!

  • E = Exercise is the closest thing we have to the elixir of life; Exercise reduces systemic inflammation, it reduces depression, it releases endorphins, it improves sleep, it can build social support, it may improve self-efficacy, it may reduce fear avoidance.

  • S = Strength training (aka resistance training), cardiorespiratory exercise, neuromotor exercise & flexibility exercise are all healthy for you - and remember, doing SOMETHING is better than doing NOTHING!
